中華文化潤澤世界青年 —— 回應(yīng)“時代三問”之初見

　　處在“兩個一百年”歷史交匯點，我們駐足沉思，深情回首，展望未來。這是一個怎樣的時代？這個時代亟待解決的問題是什么？當代青年肩負著怎樣的歷史使命？

　　這是一個怎樣的時代？

　　從世界上看，這是一個精神文明快步趕上物質(zhì)文明的偉大進步時代。

　　許多有識之士認為，近代工業(yè)文明激發(fā)了人類的創(chuàng)造力，同時也釋放了人性中的欲望。面對人類的自信與迷失，面對個體的崛起與沉淪，人們渴望著被引導，青年人尤其向往優(yōu)秀文化引領(lǐng)人生航程。

　　從中國來看，這是一個中國日益走近世界舞臺中央的偉大奮斗時代。

　　針對叢林法則和霸權(quán)主義等觀念，人類命運共同體思想提供了前無古人的中國方案。中華民族從容、堅定、自信地向世界提供優(yōu)質(zhì)產(chǎn)品技術(shù)，向世界奉獻優(yōu)秀中華文化，造福世界人民。

　　從中外交流來看，這是一個中華文化潤澤心田的偉大交融時代。

　　2018年，一位來自浙江的企業(yè)家訪問日本，介紹自己學習王陽明思想的心得。日本一位70多歲的世界500強企業(yè)董事長聽完她分享之后，恭敬地稱她為老師。會談結(jié)束，在酒店大堂，這位日本企業(yè)家請其他人稍微讓一下，然后鄭重地給這位中國企業(yè)家行了跪拜禮。中國企業(yè)家攙起他并鞠躬回禮。人們由衷贊嘆這位日本企業(yè)家的真誠與自信，贊嘆他對王陽明思想、中華文化、中華圣賢的敬重。由此可見，文化自信能促進交流融通，能建立相互尊重，能建立民心相通。

　　這是文化自信的偉大時代，這是民族復興的光明未來。我們確信無疑，中華民族偉大復興是我們這一代中華兒女的必將成就！

　　這個時代亟待解決的問題是什么？

　　英國歷史學家湯因比指出，今天人類的最大危機，無疑是年輕一代的心靈荒蕪。中國青年整體奮發(fā)有為，少數(shù)人存在“空心病”狀況。癥狀千差萬別，但內(nèi)在病根主要是心靈。不作為是心的問題，形式主義是心的問題，二代不接班也是心的問題。古人云，不能勝寸心，安能勝蒼穹！

　　針對“物質(zhì)與精神不平衡、心靈成長不充分”的問題，中華文化提供了卓有成效的解決之道。心是中華文化的核心密碼。心是道的源泉，道是德的根本，德是事的根源，德的厚薄決定了事的高低、優(yōu)劣、大小、多少。我們親眼見證了，借助“心-道-德-事”這樣的方法論，越來越多的中國青年在中華文化的引領(lǐng)下，開始建設(shè)心靈品質(zhì)，提升格局境界，知行合一，建功立業(yè)！

　　當代青年肩負著怎樣的歷史使命？

　　過往40年間，對于中國的未來，多國領(lǐng)導人持續(xù)做出了戰(zhàn)略誤判。國外青年亦對中國未來存在諸多誤解。他們可能不了解昨日之中國，可能誤解今日之中國，但誰也不想錯過明日之中國。

　　國外青年的渴望，就是中國青年的擔當。青年鏈接青年，青年影響青年，道法自然，且順理成章。建立一個“青年鏈接青年”的平臺，不僅必要，而且可行。

　　例如，一位留學8年在海外工作的中國青年，借助“心-道-德-事”方法論，深刻領(lǐng)會了中華文化精髓，立志在10年內(nèi)成為一名知行合一的君子。從今年開始，他的母親將在國內(nèi)緊密鏈接1萬名中國留學生的母親；在國外，他將同步鏈接這1萬名留學生，并助推他們建立學習機制，提升文化自信；這1萬名留學生每人分別鏈接10名渴望了解中國的外國學生，總數(shù)就是10萬外國青年。其使命是建立一個“母子共學，共同成長，呵護百萬留學生”的平臺，既關(guān)愛留學生家庭，又呵護留學生成長，更以中華文化潤澤世界青年。

　　其運行邏輯是這樣的：

　　首先，在國內(nèi)的母親們熱情鏈接，并引領(lǐng)留學生加入國內(nèi)舉辦的中華文化空中課堂。

　　然后，隨著學習持續(xù)深入，留學生不斷提升格局境界，提升文化自信，與外國學生的鏈接逐漸增強。

　　其次，國內(nèi)的母親們設(shè)立100個專題小組，讓外國學生透過100個窗口感受當代中國青年的蒸蒸日上，了解當代中國社會的欣欣向榮。

　　再次，將100個專題小組遷移到一個APP平臺上，讓更多外國青年更好鏈接中國青年，了解中華文化，創(chuàng)立中國事業(yè)。

　　從母親之間的鏈接，到留學生之間的鏈接，再到與外國學生的鏈接，在大家支持下，這樣的“青年鏈接青年”平臺可在較短時間內(nèi)鏈接100萬外國學生。事實上，僅在知行合一空中課堂，就有3000多名海內(nèi)外中國青年參加學習，其中的留學生母子都想加入到這樣自利利他的平臺。

　　中華文化是解決人生重大問題的文化。實踐證明，青年人渴望著被引導，也是可以被正確引導的，國外國內(nèi)莫不如此。

　　例如，許許多多的中國企業(yè)正處于二代接班的關(guān)鍵時期。困擾已久的二代接班的難題，如今有了切實可行的解決方案。一些青年經(jīng)營者借助“心-道-德-事”方法論深刻領(lǐng)會并踐行中華文化精髓，切實提升了格局境界，增強了經(jīng)營企業(yè)的責任感，增強了中華品牌的崇高感。這讓一代企業(yè)家們感到十分欣喜。知行合一的企業(yè)家精神不只是天生的，也是可以養(yǎng)成的。

　　A Humble Response to the “Three Questions of the Era”

　　As we stand at this historic moment where “Two Centenaries” meet, let us ruminate, take stock of history, and envision the future. What is this era that we live in? What is the pressing challenge of this era? What is the historic mission shouldered by today’s youth?

　　What is This Era that We Live In?-- This is an Era of Enormous Progress, Noble Undertakings, and Great Interchange

　　For the world, this era is marked by enormous progress where spiritual fulfillment must catch up to material civilization.

　　Many visionaries believe that while the industrial revolutions sparkled enormous human creativity, this liberation also unleashed the selfish desires in human nature. Faced with the gains and losses of human confidence and the rise and fall of the individual, people yearn to be led, especially young people who yearn for cultural inspirations to help them lead a meaningful life.

　　For China, this era is marked by noble undertakings where the entire nation steadily moves closer to the center stage of the world.

　　Faced with notions such as the law of the jungle and hegemony, China's solution is the unprecedented answer of building a community of shared future for mankind. The Chinese nation generously, firmly, and confidently provides high-quality products and technologies to the world, offering our great culture and advancing the well-being of all people.

　　For China’s relations with the world, this era is marked by the great interchange and enrichment of Chinese culture.

　　In 2018, a Chinese entrepreneur from Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province paid a visit to Japan and shared her experiences of learning Yangming Philosophy. In the audience was a 70-year-old Japanese Chairman from a Fortune 500 company, he started to call her “sensei” after hearing her talk. After the meeting ended, the Japanese entrepreneur asked the others around him to make room and solemnly kneeled down to the Chinese entrepreneur in the hotel lobby. This Chinese entrepreneur helped him up with both hands and bowed in return. People genuinely praised the Japanese entrepreneur for his sincerity and confidence, as well as for the respect he has shown to Yangming Philosophy, to Chinese culture, and to the great minds of Chinese history. Cultural confidence can pave way for thoughtful dialogues and in-depth exchanges, and it can also build mutual respect and forge heart-to-heart connections among different peoples and cultures.

　　This is a great era of cultural confidence and a historic moment of national rejuvenation. We are more convinced than ever that this generation of Chinese is bound to accomplish the noble undertaking of the great revival of the Chinese nation!

　　What is the Pressing Challenge of This Era?-- The Imbalance and Void of Spiritual Versus Material Progress

　　As British historian Arnold Toynbee observed, the biggest crisis for humanity in modern times is the spiritual void among the young generation. Chinese youth are passionate and driven overall, but some are plagued by "a hollow heart." Its symptoms vary but its root cause lies within Xin or our heart-mind. A lack of motivation is a problem of the heart-mind; formalism is a problem of the heart-mind; founders unable to pass on their business to the second generation is also a problem of the heart-mind. As the saying goes, if we cannot command our own heart-mind, how can we prevail over the vast world?

　　Faced with the above problem, Chinese culture offers a highly effective answer. The key lies in one’s own Xin (heart-mind) which is a central component of our culture. One’s Xin (heart-mind) is the source of his Dao (path), which serves as the root of De (virtues); the depth of one’s De will determine the quality and quantity of his Shi (accomplishments). This dynamic is known as the “Xin-Dao-De-Shi” methodology. We witnessed countless youth, with the help of the methodology and the guidance of Chinese culture, were able to build their inner character, elevate their vision and mindset, and become the movers and shakers of this great era.

　　What is the Historic Mission Shouldered by Today's Youth?-- Youth Connecting Youth, Let Our Culture Enrich the World

　　In the past four decades, leaders of many countries have continuously made strategic misjudgments about China’s future. Many young people around the world also misunderstand the future of China. While they might not know China from yesterday, still misunderstand the China of today, but no one will want to miss the China of tomorrow.

　　What young people around the world seek, rests on the shoulders of the Chinese youth. It is only natural that youth connect with youth and youth influence youth. So, building a “Youth Connecting Youth” platform is not only necessarily, but also feasible.

　　For example, a young Chinese professional who has lived abroad for 8 years has set a goal of uniting knowledge with action in 10 years after studying the “Xin-Dao-De-Shi” methodology and deeply grasping the essence of Chinese culture. Starting from this year, his mother will be connecting 10,000 mothers of other international students in China; while he will be connecting with 10,000 international students themselves and help them build a learning mechanism, improving their cultural confidence. These 10,000 international students will each connect with 10 non-Chinese students who want to learn more about China, which means connecting with 100,000 international youth. His mission is to build a platform that not only caters to the families of international students, but also nurtures their growth, and connects youth around the world to Chinese culture.

　　Its operation logic is as follows: firstly, the mothers who are in China will connect enthusiastically, and lead their children who are studying all over the world to join the online classes on Chinese culture held in China. Secondly, as their learning continues, these students will elevate their vision and mindset, boost their cultural confidence, gradually deepening their connection with international youth. Thirdly, mothers will set up 100 discussion groups, each focused on an important topic, letting international youth see how our youth is thriving and how our society is flourishing. Fourthly, take the 100 groups online to a platform like an app. Let more international youth connect with Chinese youth, learn Chinese culture and build their careers around China.

　　From mothers connecting mothers, to those studying abroad connecting with each other, to connecting with international youth, this type of “youth connecting youth” platform can link up one million students from around the world in a short period of time with everyone's support. In reality, we already have 3,000 Chinese youth from all over the world participating in our Yangming Philosophy of the Mind online program. Many among them and their parents all want to join such a platform that benefits themselves and others.

　　Chinese culture can solve life’s critical issues. Practice shows that youth yearn to be led, and can be correctly led, whether inside or outside of China.

　　For example, countless Chinese businesses are facing the critical question of succession. Many entrepreneurs have been delighted to find Chinese culture to be the practical and feasible solution to this dilemma. Many of their children have seen their inner character strengthened, vision and mindset broadened, and a sense of responsibility enriched after learning and practicing the “Xin-Dao-De-Shi” methodology and the essence of Chinese culture. These future leaders have gained a new appreciation for China’s home-grown brands. An entrepreneurial mindset that turns knowledge into action is not only innate, but can also be developed.

　　From Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou to the border towns, from prestigious universities to local colleges... More and more young people are joining this movement to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, elevating their vision and mindset, and spending their best years writing this breathtaking epic unfolding all across China.

　　In this great era, a learning and growth platform like “Youth Connecting Youth” will allow even more Chinese international students to become practitioners and advocators of Chinese culture, therefore benefiting more youth around the world. Chinese culture enriches the heart and mind.
